Standard Manchester Terriers
Our Manchesters include Ch. Black Gold Cheyenne Augustine ("Cheyenne"), our first Manchester, who was Best Opposite Sex(BOS) at the 1998 AMTC (American Manchester Terrier Club) National Specialty, and Ch. Shal-Mar's Louis Lamour-Ellis Isle ("Louie"), who won Best of Variety at the Westminster Kennel Club show in February, 2004.  Louie ended 2003 being the #1 male Standard Manchester, #3 in breed points and #3 in group points, also having been chosen BOS at the 2003 AMTC National Specialty, BOS at the 2003 Eukanuba National Championship, 1st AOM at the 2004 AMTC National Specialty, and 1st AOM at the AMTC District 8 Specialty in April, 2004, in Sacramento, CA.  Louie was invited to the Eukanuba National Championship in 2002, as he was in the top 25 Standard Manchesters that year, too!

Ch. Augustine's Spirit of Raven, known as "Phoenix," received an invitation to the Eukanuba National Championship in 2004 and 2005, and he was in the top 25 Standard Manchesters both of those years.  Our first Bred-By-Exhibitor invitee for 2005 was Ch. Salutaire Spirit of the Game, known as "Simon," who is a Phoenix son.  And, in 2006, both Simon and his half sister, Ch. Ellis Isle's Xanadu ("Xana"), a Phoenix daughter, both received invitations, having qualified by finishing their championships in the Bred-By-Exhibitor class.  Xana's sister, Ch. Ellis Isle's Everyday Glory ("Sunni") finished her championship on November 24, 2006, out of the Bred-By class.  Sunni got to go to the Eukanuba National Championship show on December 2, 2007, and received the 1st Award of Excellence out of an entry of 16!  We are very proud of Sunni.

Below are pictures of some our Manchesters past and present.  The majority of these wonderful dogs now have owners and homes of their own, but are still thought of fondly by their human "Mom" and "Dad" here at Ellis Isle.  (Click on the thumbnail photo to see a larger version of the photo.)
